Welcome to Year 1
Have a look at what we get up to throughout the year. We will work hard but we will have lots of fun too! Mrs Bush is our teacher and our teaching assistants are Mrs Lawless, Miss Gregory and Mrs Taylor.
PE days this year are on Tuesdays and Thursdays
What we are learning
Autumn 1 Learning
In science we have been learning about the Autumn season. We took a walk around school to look for signs of Autumn.
We welcomed our families into our toy museum. We made our own toys and presented the work we had been doing in our history lessons.
Forest School
We have been lucky enough to use our forest school this half term. We love being outdoors and having fun!
Autumn 2 Learning
In geography we are learning all about the Arctic. It is a super topic and we have already learned so much!
In science we are learning all about animals. We are preparing for our trip to Blackpool Zoo.
